Pastor Lonnie and Tammie Johns have been in ministry for 35 years and currently serve as the lead and founding Pastors of Christ Central, located in Lake City, Florida. They are both passionate about developing the next generation of kingdom leaders, ushering people into the presence of God, and serving the local community! Since starting Christ Central in 1998, the church has grown into a body of over 2,000 members and over 70,000 square feet of ministry space to impact and serve the people of Columbia and surronding counties. Through the years, they have overseen multiple community outreach events, built a recovery home for the homeless in Lake City, FL, called Renewed Outreach Center, and steadily strive to complete Pastor Lonnie's mission of "nobody in Columbia County going to hell." Not only do they impact their local community, but Pastor Lonnie leads a worldwide network of churches, Destiny Fellowship of Churches, as the Executive Director. He is also the founder and President-CEO of Partners of Hope International, which does medical missions and leadership trainings in 40 countries. Through Partners of Hope International, he has had the opportunity to build 3 children's homes, 1 in the Philippines and 2 in Honduras, caring for over 150 children each year. When Pastor Lonnie and Tammie are not busy building the Kingdom of God, you can find them on their family farm with their four children and ten grandchildren. Pastor Lonnie enjoys time in the woods, hunting, fishing, and on his tractor, and Pastor Tammie enjoys time watching their grandchildren, playing with their animals, and being spontaneous with the people she is closest to.
